Program Educational Objectives

PEO I To provide the students with the required fundamentals and foundations in the area of Embedded systems and VLSI Design, so as to make them solve real life Engineering Problems.
PEO IITo acquaint the students with the advances in the field and to impart training so that they deepen their knowledge and be able to analyse and create novel designs and products leading to successful careers.
PEO IIITo equip the students with the necessary domain knowledge and tools for pursuing higher studies and research in the area of Embedded Systems and VLSI Design.
PEO IVTo inculcate professional and ethical attitude, effective communication skills, team work skills, multidisciplinary approach and an ability to relate engineering issues to broader social context in students.
PEO VTo provide the students with an environment conducive for developing excellence, leadership and an attitude of continuous learning needed for a successful career.

PROGRAM OUTCOMES (POs)

PO1 Post Graduates will acquire an in depth knowledge of the area of Embedded systems and VLSI Design including allied subjects so as to disseminate the existing and new knowledge and acquire capability to enhance their knowledge further.
PO2Post Graduates will demonstrate ability for a critical analysis of complex engineering problems in the area of Embedded Systems and VLSI Design and interpretation of test results so as to enable them to acquire ability to conduct research in this area.
PO3Post graduates will demonstrate ability to think laterally and originally and explore a range of potential solutions and arrive at optimal solutions after considering the various issues involved.
PO4Post graduates will demonstrate ability to carry out literature survey pertaining to the field of Embedded Systems and VLSI Design to extract information in respect of unfamiliar problems. They will select and apply appropriate methodologies, to carryout designs and conduct experiments, interpret data to carryout research and contribute to the development of scientific / technical knowledge in their areas.
PO5Post Graduates will demonstrate the use of modern engineering tools and technologies related to the field of ES&VLSI design to analyze the problems and challenges so as to suggest solutions and remedial measures.
PO6Post Graduates will demonstrate knowledge of interpersonal skills coupled with a sound professional approach and ethical practices. Further they will follow an inter- disciplinary approach to find solutions to the problems and possesses adaptability to work as a member of a team to face the engineering challenges of modern society as well as furthering the knowledge of self and others.
PO7Post Graduates will demonstrate the understanding of engineering and management principles and apply the same to their work, as a member and leader in a team, manage projects efficiently after consideration of economical and financial factors.
PO8Post Graduates will demonstrate the ability to communicate freely and clearly with enhanced linguistic abilities and interpersonal skills. Further they will demonstrate the ability to prepare technical reports and provide technical specifications and standards.
PO9Post Graduates will engage in lifelong learning with high level commitment to improve knowledge and competence continuously.
PO10Post Graduates will demonstrate professional and intellectual integrity, follow professional code of conduct, understand the impact of research outcomes on professional practices and responsibly contribute to community for sustainable development of society.
