Vasavi College of Engineering, established in 1981, is a self-financed institution, approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to Osmania University, Hyderabad and offers 4-year Undergraduate Programmes in Engineering Education (B.E), and a 2-year Postgraduate Programme in Engineering Education (M.E).

The Departments Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) and Mechanical Engineering (Mech.) have been recognized by Osmania University, Hyderabad as Research Centers.
