Term

The term of the members of the Committee is two years

The committee shall meet at least once in a semester and also as and when required.

To encourage research and development, consultancy culture in the College.
To encourage faculty members to take up sponsored research projects.
To approach various research institutions, agencies, academic institutions, sponsoring agencies for research projects and consultancy.
To help the faculty members in writing proposals for minor and major research projects.
To support students in projects.
To obtain research collaboration from industry and academic institutions.
To abreast faculty members on various sponsoring agencies and due date for submission of research projects.
To negotiate with industry for consultancy and sponsored research.
To prepare and maintain required data on ongoing, completed and future sponsored research projects & consultancy.
