CURRICULAR REFORMS
It was decided to bring in reforms to the curriculum of Civil Engineering in order to bring it in tune with the current state of art/needs of industry and research. Accordingly, the following courses have been introduced:
- C- Programming and Data Structures (Theory and Laboratory)
- Applications of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in Civil Engineering
- Soft Computing in Civil Engineering (includes Artificial Neural Networks, Fuzzy Logic and Genetic Algorithms)
- Finite Element Method (Theory and Laboratory)
- Minor in Computer Science Engineering (CSE)
Currently training is being offered to the students in the following software:
- AutoCAD
- REVIT architecture
- STAAD Pro
- Arc GIS /ERDAS Imagine
- BEST
- Primavera
In addition, beginning with this academic year students are given exposure to the following software:
- PLAXIS
- EPANET
- MX Road
- ABAQUS
- MAT Lab
